During Saturday's College Football Semifinal against No. 3 TCU, the Michigan Wolverines were victims of robbery following one of the most controversial touchdowns reviews in recent memory.
Trailing TCU 14-3 in the second quarter, things could have gone better for Michigan early. However, they had some hope after quarterback J.J. McCarthy connected with wideout Roman Wilson on a 50-yard touchdown, seemingly cutting into the Horned Frogs' lead. But, after officials reviewed the catch, Wilson was ruled down at the one-yard line, wiping six points off the scoreboard.

The overturned score would prove costly for the Wolverines, as on the next play, TCU's Bud Clark recovered a fumble by running back Kalel Mullings at the goal line, and Michigan walked away from the possession with nothing.
It's hard to look at the replay of Wilson's catch and see anything but a touchdown, but somehow officials ruled differently.
Ahead of Saturday's contest, Michigan head coach John Harbaugh talked about how essential controlling momentum shifts would be against TCU.
"There's going to be momentum shifts in the game," Harbaugh told reporters. "They're going to make plays. Our goal will be to try to get the momentum back in our favor and keep it for as long as we can."
By halftime, the momentum had swung decidedly in TCU's favor, as the Horned Frogs took a 21-6 lead over the Wolverines, heading into the halftime break, leaving only two more quarters for Michigan to get it back.
