TEMPE, Ariz. – The pass sailed high, into the waiting arms of Sun Devil cornerback Javan Robinson. With the Cougars trailing 28-23 in the final two minutes of the game, BYU quarterback Jake Retzlaff intended to hit Darius Lassiter on a quick slant, but instead found Robinson, who returned it deep into Cougar territory. The biggest play of the game, in the most meaningful game the Sun Devils have played in Tempe this past decade, halted the Cougars' most potent threat as the game hung in the balance. The Sun Devils, who took more than a minute off the clock on their ensuing four plays, turned the ball over on downs with just :01 left on the game clock. The Cougars attempted a hail mary from their own 49-yard line, but Retzlaff's pass fell short, sealing a thrilling 28-23 win for the Sun Devils and an undefeated home slate (6-0) for the first time since the 2004 season. 12:41 - Cam Skattebo Touchdown 45:41 - Cam Skattebo Touchdown 2 55:13 - Cam Skattebo Touchdown 3 1:39:30 - Xavier Guillory touchdown 2:21:39 - Javan Robinson Interception For more on Sun Devil Football, visit https://sundevils.com/sports/mens/football Get tickets to a game at Mountain America Stadium: https://sundevils.com/tickets/football @SunDevilFootball on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sundevilfb/ @SunDevilFootball on X: https://x.com/asufootball Sun Devil Football on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SUNDEVILFOOTBALL/
