NEW ORLEANS -- The Texas Longhorns got punched in the mouth early in the first quarter of Monday's College Football Playoff semifinal matchup against the Washington Huskies at the Sugar Bowl.
But thanks to their dynamic pair of running backs, the Longhorns answered quickly with a seven-play, 75-yard touchdown drive that was capped off with a two-yard rushing touchdown from Jaydon Blue.
The drive was sparked by fellow running back C.J. Baxter, who had a 31-yard catch-and-run on a screen pass before punishing the Washington defense with a 13-yard run.
This set up Blue for the touchdown to tie the game. Take a look:

Headed into the game, Blue had posted 56 carries for 339 yards and two touchdowns for the season. He's also added 10 catches for 90 yards and another score.
The Longhorns defense forced a three-and-out on the following drive, but were hurt by holding penalties once they got the ball back.
