Watch: Bo Nix's father Patrick has great reaction to son’s decisive TD pass
Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Bo Nix is on his way to legendary status at Auburn after leading the Tigers to a 27-21 comeback win over Oregon on Saturday night in his first career start. The true freshman converted a couple of huge fourth- and third-down plays on the final drive and then threw a touchdown pass to Seth Williams with nine seconds left to win the game.

The best part of the game-winning touchdown was watching the reaction from Nix’s father, Patrick.

Patrick Nix played quarterback at Auburn from 1992-1995, throwing for 31 touchdowns and 16 interceptions in his career. Bo was only 13-for-31 for 177 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions vs. the Ducks, but that comeback was special for a true freshman, even if it was enabled by Oregon’s mistakes.
