In Syracuse, the Orange jumped all over the Colgate Raiders early in the game on their way to a 66-24 victory. It's the fifth straight year that Syracuse has scored 50+ points in game, tying the longest streak in school history. Quarterback Steve Angeli threw four touchdown passes in the first half on the way to a 38-3 halftime lead. For the game, Angeli threw for 417 yards and five touchdowns on 24-32 passing. He also ran for 21 yards and another touchdown. Wide receiver Darrell Gill Jr. caught six passes for 152 yards and two touchdowns, all in the first half. Running back Will Nixon carried the ball 12 times for 66 yards and a touchdown. For Colgate, wide receiver Reed Swanson caught seven passes for 110 yards and two touchdowns, while Treyvhon Saunders caught 11 passes for 105 yards.
