With most of the football world in New Orleans for the Super Bowl, there is plenty of interesting information coming out of the Crescent City. Earlier today on the Dan Patrick Show, Colorado head coach Deion Sanders shared his thoughts on how to fix the chaos of the NIL
"There has to be more structure to what's supposably NIL... So if I could change something it's structuring guidelines for these guys. It would be a mimic of the NFL. When rookies come in this is what you can get, this is the max."

“Structure” is something that should have been implemented into the world of NIL when it first began, so while Coach Sanders isn’t incorrect, introducing it now will be much easier said than done. And at this point it is also a mystery as to who would implement any of this.
Overall, more discussion needs to be had during this off-season to at least try and start the process of fixing the mess that is NIL. Coach Sanders’ voice is loud and often listened to, so more coaches with his status need to be heard sooner than later.
