On the road, the Duke Blue Devils won big over the Cal Golden Bears, 45-21, after a slow start. Cal jumped out to a 21-7 lead, and then Duke went on a 38-0 run. The Duke defense played a big part in the comeback victory. The defense had six sacks, 13 tackles for loss, a forced fumble, and four interceptions. Blue Devils quarterback Darian Mensah threw for 265 yards and two touchdowns on 22-30 passing. Wide receiver Que'Sean Brown caught six passes for 104 yards and a touchdown. Running back Nate Sheppard ran for 91 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries. For Cal, Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele completed 20 of 31 passes for 245 yards and a touchdown.
