Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre chose the Tennessee Volunteers over Alabama on Monday morning. He's the second five-star quarterback Tennessee has landed under head coach Josh Heupel, succeeding 2023 signee Nico Iamaleava. MacIntyre is the sixth commit for the Vols in the 2025 recruiting class and was their top target over the past year.
He's the No. 15 prospect in the 2025 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports' Composite Rankings. MacIntyre checks in as the No. 3 signal caller in his class and cements Tennessee as a premier program for prospects at that position. He brings a lot of good to the table and gives Tennessee a centerpiece which they can build their recruiting class around.
The talented passer released an epic commitment video shortly after his ceremony. There were many takeaways from it, but one quote that has stuck out to many was, "this isn't a commitment. It's a calling. And Volunteers answer the call." MacIntyre is already working to help build a strong 2025 recruiting class for Tennessee, and things are looking good for what that could shape up to be.
