Watch: Georgia's Brett Thorson crushes the punt of the year

It would be nearly impossible to find a better punt at any level of football than the one Georgia's Brett Thorson produced on Saturday afternoon against Tennessee.

With Georgia facing a fourth down from deep in its own territory, Thorson launched a thunderous 75-yard punt that sailed over the Volunteers return and bounced down to the pylon to be down at the Tennessee 1-yard line by a diving Nyland Green to keep it out of the end zone.

It not only had incredible distance, but the absolute perfect placement and bounce to put it in the exact spot that he wanted to land it.

The play completely flipped field position in the game.

After narrowly avoiding a safety, Tennessee had to punt from the shadows of its own goal post and set Georgia up with a short field. The Bulldogs then struck on a one-play, 37-yard touchdown drive to put them up 14-3 in the second quarter.

Winning the special teams game is often times a good recipe for winning the entire football game.
