CINCINNATI — Fall camp at Higher Ground is in the books for the UC Bearcats and multiple major faces from the team spoke to the media upon its conclusion.

Saturday was the second game-like scrimmage of the summer for UC and it put the QB battle on center stage once again. I charted all the throws from Ben Bryant and Evan Prater during the morning showdown between offense and defense.

Bryant started out with the first team and had the edge over Prater on a day where once again, the defense performed well. The veteran transfer started 5-of-5 and finished 18-for-26 passing with an interception and touchdown pass.

Meanwhile, Prater mixed in and out with the ones and went 8-for-22 with a pick of his own and a deep touchdown strike to Nick Mardner.

Prater had a few nice passes dropped, but it was not a clean day regardless for the dual-threat passer. Neither QB pushed the ball downfield much, and Prater's INT was concerning on a short pass over the middle that Bryon Threats gobbled up.

Luke Fickell was coy as always about the battle and we won't get a clear starting QB answer until sometime very close to kickoff against Arkansas.

Check out his full comments below, and you can find the QB answer around the 2:13 mark.
