The biggest college football game of the day lived up to the hype as No. 6 Ohio State beat No. 9 Notre Dame, 17-14, thanks to a last-second touchdown by Chip Trayanum with one second remaining on the clock.
That touchdown capped off a methodical 15-play, 65-yard drive for the win.
Here is a look at the play.

It initially looked like that was going to be a walk-off touchdown on the final play of the game, but replay confirmed there was still one second remaining. Notre Dame tried one lateral play after the ensuing kickoff went out of bounds but ended up fumbling it away.
Ohio State's offense may not be what it has been in recent years, but that is still a massive win for the Buckeyes to improve to 4-0 on the season. This is also the type of game that can be pivotal in the College Football Playoff discussion.
Going on the road to beat a top-10 team in that fashion is the sort of resume building that not only gets you into the playoff, it also gives you some margin for error if you lose a game later in the season.
