Watch: Penn State's Parker Washington makes ridiculous one-handed catch in Outback Bowl

Penn State's leading receiver Jahan Dotson opted out of the Outback Bowl, but Parker Washington stepped up in his absence in a big way for the Nittany Lions when he made one of the best catches of the season Saturday.

Washington, a 5-foot-10 sophomore, wowed when he hauled in a 19-yard pass on third down with a leaping one-handed grab against the Arkansas defense.

Dotson, who decided to prepare for the 2022 NFL Draft rather than play in the bowl game, reacted to the catch on Twitter with a photo of the play.

Dotson led the team in 2021 with 91 receptions for 1,182 yards and 12 touchdowns. Washington was second with 57 receptions, 722 yards and four touchdowns.
