Watch: Texas fans boo Big 12 commissioner, chant 'S-E-C' after conference title win

The Texas Longhorns claimed the Big 12 championship on Saturday with a dominant 41-29 win over Oklahoma State and made a pretty convincing case to be included in this year's College Football Playoff.

It was their last Big 12 conference win before they shuffle off to the SEC next year and their fans wanted Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark to know they did not forget what he said about the program earlier this season.

As Yormark attempted to present Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian with the Big 12 trophy, Longhorns fans showered him with boos and could be heard chanting "S-E-C" in the background.

Yormark drew the ire of Texas fans before the season when he told a group of Texas Tech boosters and its coaching staff to "take care of business" against Texas. That was basically his way of saying: Send Texas out of the Big 12 with a loss.

Instead, Texas ended up beating Texas Tech 57-7 and then ended up winning the Big 12 championship.

Texas fans have a long memory and did not forget.

They reminded Yormark of that on Saturday.

The Longhorns entered Saturday's conference title game ranked No. 7 in the latest Playoff rankings. Saturday's win should put them ahead of Ohio State and Oregon, the latter of whom lost to Washington in Friday night's Pac-12 Championship Game. They will still need to jump over one more team to reach the CFP. Florida State is the most likely candidate for that to happen.

The Longhorns will find out on Sunday when the four-team field is announced.
