Watch: USC safety Isaiah Pola-Mao ejected after vicious targeting hit
Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

USC sophomore safety Isaiah Pola-Mao doled out a vicious helmet-to-helmet hit during the second quarter against Oregon and was ejected for targeting.

Pola-Mao clearly lowered his head and launched into Juwan Johnson, who dropped the ball after being blasted. Here’s video of the brutal hit.

After review, the call of targeting was upheld, and Pola-Mao was ejected from the game. A handful of plays later, Oregon scored a touchdown to cut USC’s lead to 10-7.
