Virginia Tech vs. Clemson: The 21st-ranked Tigers upset the 5th-ranked Hokies, 38-10, preventing Virginia Tech from winning their fourth title in five years. The game was tied at 10 at halftime, and then Clemson scored 21 points in the third quarter. Tajh Boyd was 20-29 passing for 240 yards and three touchdowns, and he ran 11 times for 28 yards and another score. Boyd would be named the 2011 ACC Championship Game MVP. Andre Ellington ran the ball 20 times for 125 yards and a touchdown. DeAndre Hopkins caught seven passes for 92 yards, and Sammy Watkins caught five passes for 80 yards and a score. For Virginia Tech, Logan Thomas threw for 274 yards and a touchdown on 22-44 passing. D.J. Coals caught seven passes for 116 yards and a touchdown.
