Watch: Xavier Robinson gives Oklahoma the lead at halftime

It was an inspiring first half of football for the Oklahoma Sooners. With over 200 yards rushing, OU has definitely dominated the line of scrimmage.

Oklahoma could be ahead by even more. A missed field along with a Taylor Tatum ended two drives deep in Alabama territory.

All credit to the freshman running back Xavier Robinson. He had oy 85 total yards in three prior appearances and now has 88 at the half. This spectacular run put the Sooners up 10-3.

There have also been many impressive performances on defense including this quarterback sack by Ethan Downs.

At the half, Oklahoma has outgained the Crimson Tide 242 to 97. The Sooners had 13 first downs to only four by Alabama. Jackson Arnold has been very dangerous rushing the ball, he had 95 yards on 15 carries.

Alabama will get the ball first to start the second half. OU needs to hang on to clinch bowl eligibility.
