West Virginia secured some extra quarterback security in a transfer out of another Big 12 school. On Saturday morning, BYU transfer Ryder Burton announced his commitment to WVU.
In Burton, Neal Brown adds a potential quarterback of the future. Burton still has four years left of eligibility. He entered the transfer portal on April 30 at the end of the most recent single after one season at BYU.

Prior to college, Burton was a three-star recruit out of Springville High School in Springville, Utah. 247 Sports ranked Burton the No. 66 quarterback prospect in his class. He threw for just shy of 2,000 yards and 21 touchdowns during his senior season.
