As Wisconsin football goes through spring practice, it will be without a contributor it fought hard to get back this season.
Trech Kekahuna will not return this spring. After a promising 2024 campaign, it was easy to envision the redshirt sophomore becoming a focal point of the Wisconsin Badgers offense. Following departures in the transfer portal, Kekahuna was set to become first-year offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes' top slot receiver.
With only three of UW's spring practices in the books, the Honolulu native had a plethora of opportunities ahead of him to build rapport with the new QBs, earn the trust of his new OC, and build on the flashes he showed a season ago.
That plan is on hold until August. With Kekahuna out of the lineup, who takes his snaps in practice? Who else are Wisconsin's new quarterbacks connecting with?
