Alabama football was down three additional players against Missouri due to various injuries.
Jalen Hale, Jaylen Mbakwe and Cayden Jones were ruled out before the game. Kalen DeBoer provided updates on each player during his Monday media availability.
“Jalen Hale’s been sick,” DeBoer said. “That was the reason why he last minute, got put on the report. Bak (Jaylen Mbakwe) had a hand injury in practice last week, and he’ll be back out there practicing, and we’ll see kind of as the week goes on, how he goes there, obviously plays receivers, that affects you a little bit. He (Cayden Jones) had to have surgery on an ankle injury, so he’ll be down for a while.”
Mbakwe and Hale are both reserved wide receivers for the Crimson Tide. Jones is a sophomore, who is a reserve linebacker for Alabama.
Alabama football is currently gearing up to face Tennessee at home on Saturday.
