Why was Champ Bailey at the Tennessee vs UAB game?

Bailey, who played at Georgia from 1996 to 1998 (he was teammates with UGA head coach Kirby Smart for three seasons), was in Neyland Stadium yesterday because his son, 2028 cornerback Brayden Bailey, was on a recruiting visit to Tennessee.

Brayden, who plays high school football at Holy Innocents Episcopal School in Atlanta, hasn't been rated yet by the major recruiting services.

It's obviously still early in Brayden's recruitment, so it's too early to forecast where he'll land, but if Georgia decides they want him, it'll be tough for Tennessee to win this recruiting battle.

By the way, Champ Bailey never beat Tennessee while he was at Georgia, going 0-3 in three matchups against the Volunteers.
