Alabama football’s cornerback room returns experience and depth to its roster in 2025.
The Crimson Tide return both starters in Domani Jackson and Zabien Brown and have added even more depth to the position group by adding Red Morgan and Cam Calhoun. Morgan was a safety for the Tide as a freshman in 2024, and Calhoun transferred to Alabama from Utah.
Brown believes this group has an opportunity to be ‘dangerous’ during the upcoming season. This belief is rooted in the closeness of this group.
“We’re dangerous,” Brown told Touchdown Alabama. “We practice hard. We got good camaraderie. We really love each other. I think that’s what makes us play harder for each other. We all want to be better.”
Jackson is one of the leaders of this group. He returns to Alabama with an opportunity to be one of college football’s best cornerbacks in 2025. The California native wants opposing teams to feel threatened by Alabama’s cornerbacks.
“I just want people to know, like, wow, they play hard,” Jackson said. “Like, each and every play. We ain’t going to give up anything easy. It’s all going to be challenged. It’s all going to be back and forth. Our room is already doing that. I feel like you need that type of room. You need the corners to be able to do that to take away big shots, big plays, and I feel like we did that last year, but we let some up, and it cost us.”
Alabama also has a couple of true freshman cornerbacks with a lot of potential in Chuck McDonald and Dijon Lee.
