The ESPN "College GameDay" crew, comprised of Kirk Herbstreit, Pat McAfee, Desmond Howard, Nick Saban and host Rece Davis, are posted up at Penn State on Saturday to host the Week 5 edition of their flagship pregame college football kickoff show.

At 7:30 p.m. ET tonight on NBC, the No. 3-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions will host the No. 6-ranked Oregon Ducks in what’s shaping up to be a thriller from Beaver Stadium, better known to college football fans as Happy Valley.

Typically, Penn State will reserve one game per season where it will instruct its fans to dress in all-white, carrying on one of college football’s coolest, most iconic and most aesthetically-pleasing traditions: The Penn State White Out.

So naturally, the GameDay crew had to partake in the fun:

Even legendary college football coach Urban Meyer, who went 3-1 at Ohio State while coaching in White Out games vs. Penn State, gave Oregon’s Dan Lanning some advice going into Saturday.

"This will be the most difficult environment (Lanning) has ever coached in," Meyer said.

Beaver Stadium, which seats 106,572 people, ranks as college football’s second largest stadium, trailing only Michigan’s (107,601).

Penn State began its White Out tradition in 2004. The Nittany Lions have only gone 13-8 in these games since the inception of the tradition.

During a 2007 game, Happy Valley reached a 122 decibel level during a game against Ohio State. Meyer actually picked it as his toughest stadium to play in all of college football earlier this week.
