Oklahoma’s Woodi Washington spoke to the media about Alabama’s offense and what getting to a bowl game would mean to him.
How important is a bowl game to you and this team?
Woodi: Very important. I mean, this program is run on success and it's been I don't know how many years since we've not been to a bowl game. So I mean, that's what we're working towards and this is the next step to it.
What would a win on Saturday mean to you?
Woodi: It means everything, just going out with a win. We want to win this game, not only for us but for this program and for Coach Venables and the coaching staff as well. It’s been a long year and it’s been rough but if we can just go out and win this game, I know it'll be really important to all the guys.
What do you see out of the Alabama wide receiver corps?
Woodi: I think they're really good. Ryan Willams is the main target but they’ve got some pretty good receivers all around. They have different guys that do different stuff but they have a pretty good receiving corps.
