Woodi Washington reacts to the win over Alabama

Oklahoma’s Woodi Washington spoke to the media after the game about preparing for the Alabama game and if this is the best win he’s ever had.

Is this the best win you’ve ever had?

Woodi: It’s got to be up there. [I am] very excited that we got the win. It’s been a long time coming, we worked all year to be able to go out here and perform like that. We executed well.

What does it mean to you personally to get that pick to basically seal this game?

Woodi: [It means] everything. It’s kind of a long time coming…When the time came, the guys prevailed and I was able to do that.

The way the defense played overall, three points against a really potent Alabama offense. What went into the game plan?

Woodi: I mean exactly like you said, just executing the game plan that the coach has set out for us. We just went out there and executed everything that we got from Alabama. They’re a great team and we just came to play.
