For the second time in as many days, West Virginia has picked up a commitment in the transfer portal from a Northwestern defensive back.
Moments ago, Garnett Hollis Jr. announced his pledge to the Mountaineers, joining his teammate Jaheem Joseph, who announced his commitment Monday afternoon.
In 13 games this past season, Hollis recorded 49 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, three passes defended, one interception, and a fumble recovery.
Hollis Jr. becomes the fourth defensive back transfer to commit to WVU, joining Ayden Garnes, T.J. Crandall, and Jaheem Joseph.
He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
