WVU Offers Syracuse Defensive Back Transfer
USA TODAY Sports

West Virginia has thrown out a handful of offers to those in the transfer portal here recently, including former Syracuse defensive back Jeremiah Wilson.

Wilson appeared in nine games this season for the Orange and recorded 16 tackles, five pass breakups, one tackle for loss and one interception (pick-six vs. Colgate).

Mike McAllister of All Syracuse on FanNation/Sports Illustrated provided a little insight on the Mountaineer target.

"He’s solid in coverage when he’s risk averse but he likes to take risks. Can create big plays but also gets burned some as a result. Still young. A lot of potential. Very confident."

In addition to West Virginia, Wilson has received offers from Iowa State, Mississippi State, Tulane, UConn, and USF. He has two years of eligibility remaining.
