
West Virginia offensive lineman Doug Nester has accepted an invitation to play in the 2024 Hula Bowl, joining his teammate wide receiver Devin Carter.
The Spring Valley, WV native began his career at Virginia Tech before transferring back home to play at WVU. Since arriving in Morgantown, Nester has played in 36 career games starting at both right guard and right tackle which will make him appealing to scouts at the NFL level. At the end of the season, he was named to the All-Big 12 Honorable Mention list.
The Hula Bowl will take place on Saturday, January 13th at 12 p.m. EST at UCF FBC Mortgage Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
