West Virginia is in search of some help along the defensive line after losing Mike Lockhart to the transfer portal. The Mountaineers were looking to add to that group regardless but Lockhart's departure makes it even more of a pressing need.
Tuesday morning, the coaching staff sent out an offer to Syracuse transfer Terry Lockett (6'3", 280 lbs), who has also heard from Akron, Coastal Carolina, Old Dominion, Temple, and UConn.
This season, Lockett recorded 25 tackles, three tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, two quarterback hits, and two pass breakups.
He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
