The world of NFL fantasy football captivates friendships throughout the entire NFL season. From combines that determine draft orders to decision on fantasy punishments, fantasy football continues to be a hit each and every year.

An announcement on Thursday from Yahoo Sports expanded the world of fantasy football for the future.

Yahoo Sports announces college football fantasy leagues

In a video shared on its official X account Thursday, Yahoo Sports announced the addition of college fantasy football. According to the Yahoo Sports website, drafts will open Aug. 3 with leagues kicking off Sept. 3.

The announcement comes in the same week that ESPN Fantasy announced "Knockout Leagues" for the upcoming NFL season.
