Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy has officially brought back one of the most iconic moments in college football history. In a new ad for Consumer Cellular, Gundy recreates his legendary “I’m a man, I’m 40!” speech with a humorous twist.

The commercial features Gundy standing in front of reporters, this time not defending a player but talking about cell phone plans. “Yeah, I’m gonna make some cuts, look. Big wireless wants to come after me? I’m a man! I’m not 40, I’m 58!” Gundy says. “Why would I overpay when I can get Consumer Cellular’s unlimited plan, two lines, 30 bucks each? Fas,t reliable coverage. Two lines, 30 bucks each. That’s all I gotta say. Big wireless makes me wanna puke.”

The delivery is spot on. Gundy leans into the tone and cadence that made his original 2007 rant go viral, giving the ad a nostalgic and comedic feel. The spot has quickly made the rounds on social media, with fans and media members celebrating the coach’s willingness to poke fun at himself and tap into a moment that still resonates nearly two decades later.

The timing couldn’t be better. With Gundy still coaching in Stillwater and the Big 12 conversation heating up, the commercial gives OSU fans another reason to smile and remember one of the most quotable rants in sports history.
