Zlatan Ibrahimovic Asks Shedeur Sanders What NFL Team He Wants To Play For Amid Rumors

Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders is expected to hear his name called early when the 2025 NFL draft rolls around.

The Las Vegas Raiders are one team expected to draft inside the Top 5. In fact, as the current NFL standings stand, the Raiders hold the No. 5 pick.

Aside from Shedeur Sanders being mocked to land in Las Vegas by numerous experts, he and the Raiders have been a hot topic in the media lately due to recent developments.

Only about a month ago, Shedeur Sanders attended a WNBA game and stopped briefly to talk with Raiders owner Mark Davis. Davis told Shedeur Sanders, "I watch all your games."

Shedeur Sanders’ father and Colorado head coach, Deion Sanders, also subtly shut down the idea of the Raiders trading for Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson before Wilson took over as the team's full-time starter in Week 7. "We good," Deion Sanders said as he smirked. "We good though. We good."

On Tuesday, Shedeur Sanders welcomed soccer legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic to his podcast, "2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders."

With Shedeur Sanders and his brother Deion Sanders Jr. asking their guest most of the questions, Ibrahimovic flipped the switch and asked the quarterback which NFL team he wants to play for.

Sanders denied answering the question but claimed there are "a couple of teams that will fit."

"Nah, I can't say it, but it's a couple teams for sure," he replied. "It's a couple teams that will fit the situation and everything. And you gotta understand it's a couple teams that don't like the personality, that don't like dad, and don't like everything like that. So, it is what it is."

In 2024, Shedeur Sanders has thrown for 2,882 yards, 24 touchdowns and six interceptions.

He and the Buffaloes will host the Utah Utes on Saturday, with kickoff set for noon ET. on Fox.
