India’s star pacer Arshdeep Singh claimed the important wicket of Australian captain Mitchell Marsh during the second ODI in Adelaide on Thursday, October 23. The left-arm speedster trapped Marsh caught behind for 11 runs off 24 balls, giving India their first breakthrough as Australia’s openers were reduced to 30 runs.
The dismissal occurred in the eighth over. After conceding a boundary on the first delivery, Arshdeep bowled a well-pitched delivery angled across the right-hander. Marsh attempted a lofted shot but only managed a thin edge to the wicketkeeper, with KL Rahul completing a straightforward catch.
