Arshdeep Singh revealed the story behind the creation of his YouTube Channel after the first T20I between India and South Africa. The left-arm pacer claimed that he did it after getting to know that he wouldn't start for India in the Champions Trophy 2025. Arshdeep revealed that he got bored in the room and had no option but to entertain himself with his YouTube Channel.
The star pacer claimed that his decision turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as fans started to shower love for his content. He regarded himself to be grateful to be able to get the opportunity to play for India at the highest level.
"When I got to know that I wouldn’t be playing in the first game of the Champions Trophy, I was very bored in my room, and that’s when I started my YouTube channel. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise. (Big smile) I always try to find something positive. Sometimes you just have to be grateful that you are playing at this level," Arshdeep said.
The star pacer felt the need to wait for one's chances and make the most of it after getting the chances. As Jasprit Bumrah became just the second Indian bowler after him to claim over 100 wickets, Singh said that he welcomed the star pacer to the elite club.
"You also have to wait for your chances, and when you get an opportunity, make sure you make the most of it. I congratulated him & told him that 'Welcome to the club'," Arsgdeep added in his statement.
