Bangladesh to Tour Pakistan for Three-Match T20I Series

The Bangladesh team will tour Pakistan for a three-match T20I series. The upcoming series will not be the first time Pakistan and Bangladesh face each other in a T20I series. 

These two teams have featured 19 times in T20 Internationals, with Pakistan winning 16 of the matches and Bangladesh three. Pakistan's Cricket Board selected the squad for the series based on players' performances in the recently concluded 2025 Pakistan Super League. 

Salman Ali Agha will be Captain on his side, with Shadab Khan as his deputy. Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi have been left out of the squad to give room for other players.

There have been a few changes regarding the Bangladesh squad. Soumya Sarkar, initially selected, was ruled out due to injury. Mehidy Hasan Miraz will step in as his replacement in the upcoming match. Pacer Nahid Rana has also withdrawn from the tour due to personal reasons.

The series will begin on 28 May and conclude on 01 June 2025 at Gaddafi Stadium.

All Rounders: Mahedi Hasan (VC), Rishad Hossain, Shamim Hossain, Soumya Sarkar, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

Bowlers: Hasan Mahmud, Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Tanvir Islam.
