Brazilian model posts angry message after latest social media controversy involving Virat Kohli

Former Indian skipper and star batter Virat Kohli was in the eye of the storm last year for liking Avneet Kaur’s picture. Recently an Instagram page put up a post where it had wife Anuska Sharma along with Avneet Kaur and two other models. 

The Instagram page captioned the post and wrote, “One thing about Virat Kohli - the man clearly doesn't miss, on or off the field. From Izabelle Leite to Anushka Sharma... elite taste is just part of the brand."

One of the women in the post was Brazilian model Izabelle Leite who was linked to the Indian batting star. Leite commented on the post and said “t's been 12 years, and counting. Why can't people get over it." Apart from the aforementioned three women, LizLaz who is a noted German content creator also featured.

India’s batting sensation had apparently liked a recent pic posted by the German influencer. This created huge chatter on social media with many fans spotting Kohli’s name. 

Speaking to Hindustan Times. The German social media star said, “It was crazy because I woke up and then I was all over the news. I don't even know when he liked the picture. I learned through the news. So many people found the articles written about me on different platforms and sent them to me in my DMs. I got so many messages people were super excited about it."

India’s batting sensation looks to keep his run scoring form going 

Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper is currently fifth in the batting charts in IPL 2026. The 37-year-old has scored 247 runs from six matches so far at an average of 49 and a strike-rate of 157 with the help of two fifties. 

The defending champions will next play Gujarat Titans at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday. Rajat Patidar's side is currently second in the table with eight points and suffered an heartbreaking loss to Delhi Capitals in their previous encounter.
