“Come and talk face to face”: Shahid Afridi throws open challenge to Irfan Pathan after dog comment

Shahid Afridi has dared Irfan Pathan after the latter revealed a past incident between the two all-rounders. Shahid and Irfan were not in the good books of each other during their playing days in international cricket. Now, Afridi has asked Irfan to come and talk on his face.

“I consider someone a man who talks in front of the face. Anyone can talk behind the back, but I only like to talk to those who can converse in front of my face. I will enjoy then as I can give a reply,” Afridi said on Pakistani TV channel Samaa TV.

Irfan opened up about his fight with Afridi in one of his recent interviews. “Indian and Pakistani players were on the same flight during the 2006 tour. Afridi tried to mess up my hair,” Irfan said on Lallantop.

Afridi’s act was not liked by Pathan, who gave him a reply. “Abdul Razzaq was sitting with me, and I asked him about the different types of meat available in Pakistan. He was surprised and asked the reason. I told him that Afridi must have eaten the dog’s meat, and that’s why he is barking,” Irfan added.

Irfan bowled 154 deliveries against Afridi and managed to dismiss him nine times.
