Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya has won the toss and elected to bat first against the Chennai Super Kings in Match 44 of the Indian Premier League 2026.
"We will bat first as it looks like a good track. We want to give our batters another chance to score as many runs as possible. We will have to play our best cricket. We are professionals, and we need to turn up for every game and give our best shot. I want players to play good cricket overall," Hardik Pandya said.
CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad would have batted first had he won the toss.
"We wanted to bat first. The pitch is a bit on the drier side, but it will not change much. We are happy to bowl first. We faced challenges in the previous game, and it's time to play as a team," he said
