England have opted to bowl in the Old Trafford Test. Australia are 2-1 up and only a draw away from retaining the urn. Plenty of sub-plots, drama and thrills awaits the cricketing fandom as the two powerhouses resume battle after a brief hiatus.
While England have brought back James Anderson for Ollie Robinson, Australia have Cameron Green replacing their spin option. The unavailability of Nathan Lyon is a massive blow though and it has surely hampered their plans, forcing the visitors to go with a batting-heavy XI on this occasion.
The weather forecast for the fourth Ashes Test looks ominously bad, particularly for the last two days.
Teams:
Australia (Playing XI): David Warner, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Steven Smith, Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh, Cameron Green, Alex Carey(w), Pat Cummins(c), Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood
England (Playing XI): Ben Duckett, Zak Crawley, Moeen Ali, Joe Root, Harry Brook, Ben Stokes(c), Jonny Bairstow(w), Chris Woakes, Mark Wood, Stuart Broad, James Anderson
