ICC punishes Jasprit Bumrah, no action against Arshdeep Singh

Jasprit Bumrah has received one demerit point from the International Cricket Council (ICC) for his crashing plane send-off to fast bowler Haris Rauf during the IND vs PAK final in the Asia Cup 2025. “Jasprit Bumrah accepted the charges and one demerit point was added to his record,” the ICC said in a statement.

During the finale, Bumrah dismissed Rauf in the 18th over and gave him a send-off. A hearing was conducted by ICC against Arshdeep Singh for his gestures during the Super 4 match against Pakistan. However, he escaped any punishment.

“Following a hearing, Arshdeep Singh was found not guilty of breaching the Article 2.6, which deals with a gesture that is obscene, offensive or insulting, and therefore no sanction was imposed on him.”
