India captain Shubman Gill has won the toss and elected to bowl first against New Zealand in the third and final ODI in Indore.
“We will bowl first. New Zealand put us under pressure in the second ODI, but hopefully players will perform today. I don’t think there will be a lot of dew, but chasing is always good over here. It is important to take wickets in the middle overs. Arshdeep Singh has replaced Prasidh Krishna,” Shubman Gill said.
New Zealand skipper Michael Bracewell would have bowled first as well.
“We would have fielded first. I don’t mind batting first. It is an exciting opportunity to win the series in India. When a series is on the line, you want your players to give their best,” Michael Bracewell said.
