In the second unofficial Test against Australia A, India A mounted a spectacular chase, led by centuries from KL Rahul and Sai Sudharsan. They guided the hosts to a thrilling five-wicket victory, successfully overcoming a massive target of 413 runs at the Ekana Stadium.

Australia A initially held the upper hand after racking up 420 runs in their first innings and dismissing India A for just 194. However, the match took a dramatic turn as the Indian bowlers responded with precision and control, bowling out the visitors for 185 in their second innings. This fightback gave India A a realistic, though difficult, fourth-innings target to chase.

Returning from injury, KL Rahul delivered a sublime batting performance. After retiring hurt on Day 3 while on 74, he made a strong comeback the following day to finish unbeaten on 176, including 16 boundaries and 4 sixes. This marked his 22nd First-Class hundred and served as a timely demonstration of his talent ahead of India’s upcoming international fixtures.

Sai Sudharsan held his nerve brilliantly, crafting a patient and well-judged century off 172 balls. His composed presence at the crease played a vital role in maintaining momentum during a crucial stage of the chase.

Dhruv Jurel contributed 56 runs off 66 balls, while Nitish Kumar Reddy stayed not out on 16 to guide India A to victory. The team reached their target in 91.3 overs, finishing at 413 for 5.
