She needed 40 runs to surpass the Australian legend and did so in a run chase of 298 runs in the final against India at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
She completed her fifty to keep the Proteas ahead in the title clash. Laura has scored over 500 runs and played a key role in her team’s success in the tournament.
