They have now moved up to the third position in the tournament rankings, adding two valuable points to their total. After winning two and losing two in their first four matches, the Gorkhas are placed right in the middle of the competition. They are gaining confidence at the perfect time, and if KC maintains his performance, Kathmandu could become a serious contender for the top position. The journey is getting more thrilling!

Lumbini Lions were bowled out for 135 

The Kathmandu Gorkhas, who batted first after the toss went against them, finished their innings with a total of 157 runs in 20 overs, with some real magic lower down the order when Karan KC made a grand entrance. He scored 34 not out in just 11 balls with four sixes and one four—a marvelous finish that afforded the Gorkhas an excellent stepping stone. His innings was a game changer and a victory signal.

The response of Lumbini lions was not very good under the excessive pressure. They lost all their wickets for only 135 runs in 19.1 overs, thereby giving Gorkhas a clear victory by 22 runs. It was the second defeat of the Lions in three matches at a crowded stadium. But KC was still not through! The Man of the Match prize was given to the brilliant all-rounder who also had a hand in taking one of the wickets with the ball.
