Kolkata Knight Riders legend Sunil Narine reached a big milestone during the IPL 2026 match against SunRisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on May 3. The off-spinner dismissed Salil Arora with a brilliant delivery to take his first wicket of the match and complete 200 wickets in the IPL. He became the first overseas player to reach this mark.
Only Yuzvendra Chahal (228) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (215) have taken more wickets than him in the league. The wicket came at the start of the 16th over. Narine bowled a carrom ball, and Arora expected it to spin the other way. But the ball went straight, beat his bat, and hit the off-stump.
