Kolkata Knight Riders legend Sunil Narine reached a big milestone during the IPL 2026 match against SunRisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on May 3. The off-spinner dismissed Salil Arora with a brilliant delivery to take his first wicket of the match and complete 200 wickets in the IPL. He became the first overseas player to reach this mark.

Only Yuzvendra Chahal (228) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (215) have taken more wickets than him in the league.The wicket came at the start of the 16th over. Narine bowled a carrom ball, and Arora expected it to spin the other way. But the ball went straight, beat his bat, and hit the off-stump.

Kolkata Knight Riders, led by Ajinkya Rahane, made a strong comeback with excellent bowling against SunRisers Hyderabad in their IPL 2026 match. They picked up the last eight wickets for just 60 runs and bowled SRH out for 165 in 19 overs.

Varun Chakaravarthy was the best bowler with 3 wickets for 36 runs, while Sunil Narine and Kartik Tyagi took two wickets each. For SRH, Travis Head played a brilliant innings, scoring 61 runs off just 28 balls, including three sixes and nine fours. Ishan Kishan also contributed with 42 runs off 29 balls, hitting two sixes and four fours.

After wins against Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants, KKR will now aim to win their third match in a row. On the other hand, the Pat Cummins-led SRH will need to improve their bowling if they want to extend their four-match winning streak.
