India clinched a seven-wicket victory over the West Indies in the second Test in Delhi, wrapping up the two-match series with a 2-0 sweep. After the game, several Indian players interacted with members of the West Indies squad, engaging in friendly discussions on the field. Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel were spotted speaking with opposition players during the post-match moments.
Some Indian cricketers also visited the West Indies dressing room to continue the exchange. Among them were Mohammed Siraj, Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Washington Sundar, and Kuldeep Yadav. Head coach Gautam Gambhir was also seen in conversation with West Indies head coach Darren Sammy. KL Rahul went a step further, offering valuable advice on batting in Test cricket.
“Number one is for me to score runs. When I work with my coach, he always tells me to first figure out how can you score runs. Then we go back and say how can we defend the ball,” he was heard saying.
Rahul also autographed a jersey for a West Indies player. Cricketers from both sides appeared in good spirits, smiling and interacting as they exchanged experiences and cricketing insights. You can watch the video here:
