Star Indian batter Virat Kohli posed for photos with fans upon his arrival at Mumbai airport on Thursday, February 12. The Delhi-born cricketer is not part of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2026, having retired from the format after India’s victory in the 2024 edition, where they defeated South Africa in the final to claim the title.

As the 37-year-old headed toward his car after landing, he paused briefly, asking fans who wanted to take pictures with him and warmly obliged, joking:

“Haan bhyi, kaun hai photo wala?”

On the cricketing front, Kohli was last seen in action during India’s three-match home ODI series against New Zealand in January. Despite the Men in Blue losing the series 1-2, Kohli delivered stellar performances with the bat. In three innings, he scored a total of 240 runs at an impressive average of 80.00 and a strike rate of 105.26, including one half-century and one century.

Over the course of his ODI career, the right-handed batter has played 311 matches, amassing 14,797 runs in 299 innings at an exceptional average of 58.71 and a strike rate of 93.82. His record features 54 centuries and 77 fifties, with a highest score of 183.

Virat Kohli is set to play in the IPL 2026, which kicks off on March 26, continuing his stint with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The franchise clinched its first-ever IPL title in 2025, defeating Punjab Kings (PBKS) under the captaincy of Rajat Patidar.

Kohli also remains the IPL’s all-time leading run-scorer. The right-handed batter has featured in 267 matches, amassing 8,661 runs in 259 innings at an average of 39.54 with a strike rate of 132.85. His record includes eight centuries and 63 half-centuries, with a highest score of an unbeaten 113.
