Daniel Larsson and Andreas Harrysson were the winners at the tournament weekend of the PDC Nordic & Baltic Pro Tour in Denmark. Harrysson thus secured participation in the World Darts Championship.
In Slangerup, Denmark, was the fifth of six tournament weekends on the PDCNB Pro Tour. Harrysson had traveled to this venue as the leader on the PDCNB Pro Tour Order of Merit and could secure participation in the World Darts Championship.
He succeeded by winning the tenth PDCNB Pro Tour event of the year. 'Dirty Harry' successively defeated Anton Ostlund (6-1), Johan Engstrom (6-4), Tonni Sorensen (6-5), Marko Kantele (6-5) and Oskar Lukasiak (6-5) to take the title.
This secured Harrysson a spot in the top two of the PDCNB Pro Tour Order of Merit with two tournaments to go, allowing him to participate in the PDC World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace in December. For the Swede, it will be his debut at Ally Pally.
Earlier this weekend, Daniel Larsson managed to win the ninth event of the PDCNB Pro Tour. He dealt with Anna Forsmark (6-0), Bent Lambertsen (6-1), Oskar Lukasiak (6-5), Viktor Tingstrom (6-2), Marko Kantele (6-3) and Edwin Torbjornsson (6-5).
After ten of the 12 tournaments, Harrysson is comfortably at the top of the PDC Nordic & Baltic Order of Merit with 5600 euros, while Oskar Lukasiak is in second place with 3750 euros. He must try to keep behind the likes of Marko Kantele (€3075), Teemu Harju (€3075), Valters Melderis (€2950) and Darius Labanauskas (€2675) during the final weekend in early August in Norway.
