The eighteenth participant in the 2026 World Seniors Championship has been confirmed with Andy Hamilton joining the field at the Circus Tavern from February 19 to 21. Tickets for the prestigious event are already on sale.
Hamilton was runner-up in last year's Champion of Champions, is a former Premier League star and also World finalist and joins many of his contemporaries from that era in the field at the Circus Tavern.
He joins an increasingly star-studded field that includes defending champion Ross Montgomery, fellow Scots John Henderson and Robert Thornton, and crowd favourites such as Steve Beaton and Simon Whitlock. Vincent van der Voort and Ronny Huybrechts is also confirmed, while three-time world champion John Part was announced alongside Leonard Gates.
Scott Waites looks to be the next player to be confirmed with fans mooting that he is behind the silhouette for player 19, the final player to initially be confirmed. There is also another big announcement pertaining to a future event this evening. An announcement that was previously delayed but they say is worth the wait.
But after the 19th player, it will be the initial field set of the main players for the format who have been invited with lots of top names returning or making their debut.
