Luke Littler has received a lot of attention since he has ascended up the ranks mainly from tabloid newspapers who often publish stories musing about his private life and the World Champion has called out poor headlines on his Instagram.

Littler took to Instagram with a screenshot of a story from the Daily Star newspaper which describes the cost of his rucksack and watch he is using as being £6k for the watch and £2k for the rucksack as well as surrounding his relationship status.

But 'The Nuke' said that he has long owned the items he was using and called on the newspapers to 'switch on'. He last hit out also at Dennis Priestley and Neil Duff using his social media.

The former for saying he and Luke Humphries let their country down at the World Cup of Darts. "The watch and rucksack that I've had for more than a year yeah?," wrote LIttler.

"Come on guys switch on for me," he concluded. He will next be in action tomorrow at the Poland Darts Masters before heading into a busy Summer albeit he won't still play events in Germany. He has signed up though for his European Tour return ahead of the World Matchplay in Antwerp.
