'Dirty Harry' strikes twice on Nordic & Baltic Tour and grabs lead position
Jonas Hunold/PDC Europe

Andreas Harrysson was the celebrated man at the Pro Tour tournaments in the Icelandic capital Reykjavik last weekend. 'Dirty Harry' managed to win both tournaments to his name.

At the fifth event of the PDCNB tour, the Swede easily reached the semifinals after victories over Kamil Mocek (6-0), Niels Heinsoe (6-1) and Oskar Lukasiak (6-1). Harrysson then pulled through in hard-fought battles against Teemu Harju (6-5) and Marko Kantele (6-5) to capture the title.

So later came success at the sixth tournament of the season. During that tournament he dealt with Bjorn Lejon (6-5), Ralfs Laumanis (6-4), Darius Labanauskas (6-1), Marko Kantele (6-5) and Oskar Lukasiak (6-2).

With this double, Harrysson now heads the PDC Nordic & Baltic Tour Order of Merit with 3300 euros in prize money. His compatriot Lukasiak is in second place with 2625 euros, followed by Kantele with 2350 euros. Valters Melderes, who was ranked first prior to this tournament weekend, made a dip in the standings and is now the number four with 2325 euros.
